Yes, every year we hold a Gala, it is an invitation to our main partners in travel; wholesalers and tour operators to renew their contracts with our hoteliers and destination management companies and insure a smooth transition from one season to another, year after year.
It is an occasion to cater to our promoters and allow them to experience the same joy they provide to our mutual clients when they send them to us.
It is a time to comment on our experiences and to together find ways to improve the way we function for the benefit of our clients, the tourists visiting Puerto Vallarta and the bay area.
But this Gala was a very special one, this Gala opened with the inauguration of our new International Convention Center.
It did take some time and some frustration as well, but there could not have been a better occasion for our convention center to open than at our yearly Gala and to be able to share this special moment with our most prized associates, our partners in the travel industry.
Who better than them to witness how Puerto Vallarta can now accommodate the largest conventions, congresses and trade shows, who better than them to go out and spread the word!
It was the Gala of Galas, lights flooding the sky, fountains, gardens, open areas and a very stylish architecture of sails in the wind pointing to the sky.
Puerto Vallarta has now increased meeting capacities and we can host greater functions that will also be able to enjoy our nature, our people, our fine dining and a wide array of fun activities throughout the bay area and surroundings.
