Hola! There is another restaurant on the main street of San Pancho (next to the CMQ) we would like to tell you about.  It is called “Marcos Restaurant/Bar”! For those of you who have been here for awhile, you may remember Adrianas Restaurant.  Adriana is quite something in the kitchen and has delighted locals and gringos alike with her fabulous meals!! A few years back, Adriana opened up another restaurant on the beach in Sayulita and was spending a lot of her time there.  We are all VERY happy that Adriana and Rigo have opened up Marcos Restaurant/Bar here in San Pancho!!  The coconut shrimp dish and their steaks are outstanding!!!  On Thursdays and Saturdays from 6 pm to 9 pm there is Live “Gringo” Music performed by the new musical duo, “Geno & Tom”!  Marcos Restaurant/Bar is a big hit here in San Pancho!!

“Geno & Tom” are also performing their unique style of gringo favorites on Monday nights from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm in La Cruz de Huanacaztle. XIKURI, Calle Coral 66, in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle has been a landmark since it is the only gallery in La Cruz de Huanacaztle displaying world known Huichol artists such as José Benitez or Cresencio and many more, plus finest huichol handcraft around. Besides the gallery, XIKURI features:

NATURAL SOL: a boutique selling health products and exotic fruit juices.

WENDY's finest silver jewelry inspired by pre-Columbian culture, attended by proper designer who proposes the silver medal of your own astrological aztec sign. Selected choice of necklaces, bracelets and rings.

LE RÊVE is an open garden French restaurant hosted by French chef Bernard from Paris which offers traditional French cuisine at very reasonable prices.  Free WI FI service all day long.

LIVE MUSIC: Breakfast entertainment with acoustic music attended by guest musicians...

Every Monday, Bistro Night with GENO & TOM. Offering fine wines or your favorite drink with typical Parisian snacks such as pâtés, quiches, onion soup, cold plates and much more... No cover.

Every Saturday, 3 courses classy recipes menu (150 pesos) with TATEWARI group, flamenco Latin fusion music. Preferred sitting with reservation. No cover.

The restaurant displays art works of Mexican and international artists. In December: show of French photographer EDOUARD ESCOUGNOU and Mexican sculptor LUIS ESPIRIDION.

The Grand Opening of Galeria del Nayar was held onFriday, November 23rd, 2007 and it was a huge success! A great time was had by all!! Galeriadel Nayar is located on the corner of the main street of San Pancho and Calle Cuba (across from the “World Famous” Palapas Las Iguanas rentals) – one block from the beach.  Galeria del Nayar is the brainchild of Ariel Sainz.

Ariel Sainz studied painting and acting at the National Center of the Arts in Mexico City where he was born. Ariel has now lived in San Pancho for the last five years.  Ariel was one of the main organizers of the First Annual San Pancho Art Festival December 2006. Ariel will be showing his paintings and more at Galeria del Nayar in San Francisco (San Pancho), Nayarit.  Ariel favorite scenes are the horizon by dawn or dusk.  Ariel loves the way the light and color are at those times of day and feels he can see “beyond that”. Ariel adds, “I've always been confronted by the world and the human condition - from a line in the sky to the political hurricanes. I have performed with different theater companies around the world and have, through my paintings, been discovering in the white canvas an endless path of knowledge through which to grasp the invisible”.

Galeria del Nayar is a new art project in San Francisco (San Pancho), Nayarit.  Galeria del Nayar shows the art work of Ariel Sainz, an artist who has worked as a performer in different companies and directors around the world. Ariel Sainz work shows a contemporary vision of landscapes and horizons, oils, acrylics and watercolors. A series of wooden sculptures called "Totems" using different wood from the region like "Parota", "Amapa" and "Primavera". Elegant and modern Lamps made out of fabric and paper with translucent stones and crystals that gives a very special atmosphere to the space.

Galeria del Nayar is a space that wants to promote local and international artists, painters, sculptures, photographers and jewelers. at the same time Galeria del Nayar will feature outdoor Music and Performance.
